LAS VEGAS CURSE

My dear friends if one day you arrive to Las Vegas and you find a German Bakery called “Las Vegas Curse” do not hesitate to go in. You will find the best breads that you can find in Las Vegas and also do not forget to try the apple strudel. It has been made by a German native that once tried to leave Las Vegas with his family to start to live again in another country.

This family had everything ready to go. They had been packing for a very long time because they had had enough of living in America. They were living in a very suburbia neighbourhood where all the military people lived.

Ready to leave for many months they went to the airport with their tickets out of their pockets and happy to finally leave the place that after two years have learn to hate.

Already in the airport everything looked too good to be true. They went into the plane and said good byes to the love ones that were leaving behind for a short time.

Fasten your seat belts and they were ready to go but something seemed to be going wrong because after and hour they did not seem to go anywhere. Suddenly an announcement trough the internal radio of the plain, there are some technical problems and we are going to have leave the plain and we will go back into the plain as soon as things are ready to go.

Oh! The world was going upside down, they were ready to go and they could not. Would that mean that they were not going to be able to leave? Would that mean that USA would be their house forever? Would that mean that they would never see Germany again?

After some hours they were sent to the Riviera Hotel were they were told to spend the night. They were promised that they could leave in the morning. The morning arrived and the news was to go to the airport to get the plain. After hours waiting the plain never came, the company got sued and the plain never left. We do not know if this lovely family ever left this great country but if you ever get a too good apple strudel in Las Vegas perhaps you are eating the result of a German family that never managed to get the plane.
