MR. SANDMAN

Hello beautiful people;

We are singing or better say that we are preparing the song for one of our shows. I am sure that many of you have seen as doing a sloppy version but now we are working really hard so we can have like a professional version.

We have worked with lots of people, I mean lots of teachers helping us to prepare the song and teaching us how to be better singers, well, how to sing better.

The first one was Peter. He was very good. He gave us lots of confidence and lots of directions to how to act the number. He was coming from the world o Musical Theatre. For me he was very inspiring because he was really fat and a slob but still was talented.

The second one was Will. He was a teacher in the University and he was very good technically. And that was that because he did not know how to play the piano, he was late, he would not do his homework and he was paranoid but we did not find about that until we said that things could not carry on like that.

Now our teacher is Elliot. He is fantastic. He is not just a fantastic human been he is also a very good MD (musical director). I think with him we found the person that we were looking for to work our musical number as far as music goes.

He is so gentle but firm and he do not miss one details of the work. We work with him every Tuesday and he is fantastic.

I do not know what else can I say. Ah¡ Yes, the song is the one that the Cordettes, an all female singers band made it very popular in the forties or in the fifties. Then Emmylou Harris also did the song once and then is us. I do not think it will get as big repercussion as the people that did it before us but who knows.
