SPYMONKEY ON TOUR
Hello you all;
We are on the process of going on tour. Yes, our very nice agent-manager-personal friend is booking gig left right and centre. Well, she is working really hard. It is not easy because there are lots of good people working around but still I think we are going to be fine next year.
Today thou we lost Hong-Kong. It is very sad because for a very long time we have been trying to go there. For me it is a little bit of a mythical destination. Not specifically for theatre but for history and novels and cinema. Hong-Kong a small piece of land belonged to England for many years and now part of China in a very weird way. Full of high buildings and with an airport that when you are about to land it looks like you are going to hit the ground and blow in a thousand pieces. Probably you can it so well there that you would never want to leave, Cantonese cuisine I believe but Chinese anyway and I love eating. The only thing I want to find now that it would make it irresistible is the surf is good.
But we are not going because finally they do not want us for the festival. A real pity, but hope fully we will go there another time. It happens very often when you are trying to book a tour, on the beginning there is a huge list of places you are going to visit and as you are closing the deals many of the places disappeared and others appeared. So today there is a very big possibility of visiting Australia next year and that would be amazing. Well, It is not as mythical as Hong-Kong but definitely has very good surfing.
For me it is a big part of touring the places where we go. We have been in many awesome places while touring with Spymonkey. Many times history was happening in front of our eyes and that was really cool.
The way I am writing now it looks as if I just had a spliff but let me tell you that is not true is just that my English is quite limited but good enough to have a raff idea of what I am saying to you.
Have fun motherfuckers.
