Hello friends, For all of you that know them they are here and I am sure they would be really glad to see you if you are around when they are. They have come to see the show and mostly to come and work with spymonkey in COOPED. Thou we know, mainly because we would have done the same, they are using this time to go to a nice holyday. They deserve it and also they are working real hard. It has been our first day of rehearsals and things are going fine. The four of us are a little bit tired and it is difficult but I think that the fact that we really want to do this and we want to make the most out of it, it is giving us an extra amount of energy. In the evening they got tickets to see La Reve. Claudio the clown of La Reve is an old clown of cirque du soleil and they had worked together in Varekay. Lucy designed these numbers. They went there and after they came to see us. Of course if they did not like very much the show before now they like it even less. They also came to see the show in a very bad night. Friday night was very very bad, not enough people for Friday and also the little amount people were very quiet so that did not give us enough pleasure and let me tell you that is one of Cal's speciality. Is very nice to have them around. This place is a very sick. It suffers from a big attack of dullness. It is not going to kill it but it may suffer in the future. No, there is not cure because if you try to cure that you may suffer from a worse sickness luck of audience and that is lethal. They did like La Reve but they thought it was boring. Everybody looks the same and everybody does the same things and the clowns are not very funny. Also they have a kind of costume that does not help to differentiate the characters. So you think you are watching the same person the whole time but not. It is full of water and the performers are taking into the water and they are taking out of the water and they go in looking great and they come out wet and soggy like a tee bag. Nobody likes very much to see a wet tee bag. But it has a couple of nice acts. Have fun. |
